IMService
is also announcing some product enhancements
with this newsletter. The first is a
change to the
Pro-Precise
spindle package. It now
includes a compact pump and closed loop system
with forced air cooling, using a radiator.
The Pro-Precise is a spindle package available
for CNC routers. It uses an integrated
Hi-frequency motor with a variable frequency
drive. The spindle is water cooled,
resulting in very cool quiet operation.
The IMService package is rated at 1 HP and
runs off normal 120vac mains. The
spindle speed is computer controlled between
8000-24000 rpm.

The second item is the pending
final
release of Vector 12.
IMService has been distributing Vector since
1995, and we are very pleased to announce the
pending release of version 12. This new
version has many enhancements and has been
available to upgrading customers for about 6
months. One of the new capabilities is the
NC-Features option, which permits direct
access and machining of features such as holes
and pockets in 3D solid models created in
solid modelers such as SolidWorks, Alibre, and
Inventor. Be sure to inquire about hobby
and educational discounts for Vector.

The
final item is the release of our
122404
CNC router with a parallel port interface. Previously
this machine was only available with the
DeskCNC serial port controller. As
of this date, both the 12 x 12 and the 12
x 24 machines can be ordered with either
controller. The machines are shipped with
specific setup configurations to permit
operation with either Mach3 parallel port, or
DeskCNC serial or USB to serial setups.
