I just tryed to generate a toolpath from an STL object. I entered all the required info in the cutting strategy window and when I clicked on generate toolpath, it still says I need to generate strategy. A machining parrameters window comes up and I click machine. A new window comes up saying maximum height cannot be zero. Where is this maximum height defined? I set Z2 to -10 as 0 does not seem to work.

There is a detailed step by step tutorial in the help file, including use of a sample file. I suggest you start there as it explains most of the questions you have posed.
